Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the boop.network moderators.

1. Don't be an dick, and don't post illegal content. Those concepts guide most other rules and moderation.
2. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, ableism, or other hateful conduct. Please, also report it when you see it.
3. Content Warnings & Sensitive Media labels are required for images of nudity, bloodshed, or extreme harm. CWs, Alt Text, and PascalCase hashtags are encouraged for improving everyone's experiences, especially disabled users. However, policing posts or bullying people into using them is unacceptable.
4. No corporate advertising, spam, or accounts. No crypto advertising, spam, or accounts. No "AI" advertising, spam, or accounts. However, self-promotion of art, livestreams, personal storefronts, etc. is welcomed and encouraged.
5. Automated and Bot accounts must be labeled as such. If the account will be regularly posting more than 3 times a day, posts should be set as Unlisted by default to prevent clogging up the Local timeline.
